RVP Strive For Road Safety Culture

 

         RVP is an organization that strives for road safety culture coupled with providing claim services to road accident victims according to the Protection for Motor Vehicle Victims Act. B.E. 2535.With consciousness in social responsibility, the company is aware that traffic accident is not only one party’s responsibility but all parties involved. To build a road safety culture within the organization, RVP has produced "RVP Road Safety Charter" to enforce on its employees and staff to strictly implement road safty practice for safe roads and as a contribution to the action plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety. RVP employees pledged to strictly follow the Charter as following.
1. Employees and staff at all levels shall strictly act in accordance with the organization ideology that is
  “Adhere to good moral principles – Strive for operational excellence – Stand for social responsibility – Confident in value of the people“
2. Employees and staff at all levels shall strictly follow traffic regulations while driving a vehicle at all times whether it be short or long journey.
3. Employees and staff at all levels shall persistly practice according to road safety measures as following
  3.1 Wear safety helmet at all times when driving/riding a motorcycle or being a passenger
3.2 Drive under the speed limits in accordane with traffic laws and regulations and drive carefully.
3.3 Keep the seat belts fasten at all times when driving motor vehicle or being a passenger.
3.4 Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or other substance.
3.5. Do not use mobile phone or any devices while driving/riding a vehicle.
4. Employees and staff at all levels shall support  co-operate, and participate in road safety activities to magnify an outcome to other employees in the organization  family and the people in society to commonly practice road safety.
5. Employees and staff at all levels shall take part in conducting surveys concerning risk factors for road users and involved parties in order to determine good practices and preventive measures.
66. Employees and staff at all levels accept that violation of RVP Road Safety Charter will be treated as a serious disciplinary offence to the company and may effect employee’s annual performance appraisal.
